Why Rally with TITR?

The Rally is an outstanding occasion to network with professionals in the cultural/heritage preservation and tourism industry like Museums, Historical Societies, Chambers, etc. You will learn about our state's heritage and tourism resources. This is also an opportunity to assist in fundraising efforts since proceeds allow the Region to be a viable and effective Trails Program.

 

The Texas Independence Trail Region (TITR) comprises 28 counties in Southeast Texas. It is one of the 10 heritage trails under the THC’s award-winning Texas Heritage Trails Program. The TITR is a 501(c)3, volunteer organization whose purpose is to preserve, promote, and educate in the name of cultural, historical & natural assets.

Tour four fascinating places with historic roots!

Your Texas history adventure starts here. Kick off the afternoon at the San Jacinto Battleground State Historic Site from 1–3 PM, then continue the journey at Baytown’s Republic of Texas Plaza from 3:30–4:30 PM. Two iconic sites, one unforgettable tour! Lunch & dinner gatherings (dutch treat)
