Why Rally with TITR?

The Rally is an outstanding occasion to network with professionals in the cultural/heritage preservation and tourism industry like Museums, Historical Societies, Chambers, etc. You will learn about our state's heritage and tourism resources. This is also an opportunity to assist in fundraising efforts since proceeds allow the Region to be a viable and effective Trails Program.

 

The Texas Independence Trail Region (TITR) comprises 28 counties in Southeast Texas. It is one of the 10 heritage trails under the THC’s award-winning Texas Heritage Trails Program. The TITR is a 501(c)3, volunteer organization whose purpose is to preserve, promote, and educate in the name of cultural, historical & natural assets.

Tour four fascinating places with historic roots!

The Rally includes a tour of the restored 1850s Magnolia Hotel (on the 2023 Most Endangered Places in Texas list) which also features ghost tours, as well as overnight stays, and the historic Steven & Mary Birch Texas Theatre. The next day includes workshop sessions, lunch, door prizes, and a raffle.

Raffle for the Rally

You can help make this Rally a success by donating a raffle item.  Your contribution to the raffle will help us meet our fundraising goal for this event, while also providing you a showcase for your community's assets.
